Problems with leaving a comment
Over the past month, it seems that there has been wide-spread problems with leaving comments on people's blogs. I have encountered it myself and it's been rather irritating. I think that somehow, the way blogger is processing cookies is interfering with the comments process.
I have figured out how to get around this problem. When leaving a comment, it will usually ask you to use a profile. When you go to sign in to your google profile, for example, make sure that the check box for "save sign in information" is unchecked. If you do this, you will be able to leave a comment with no problem.
I'm hoping that blogger can get this problem fixed since it's obviously a system wide problem. Incidentally, I don't have this problem using google chrome for my browser. It appears that internet explorer is causing this big issue.
Feel free to share this information with anyone who needs it!

Peachy Keen LFIF Challenge Old School
Our challenge this week was to create a project that reflected the year we graduated from high school. While the other gals went totally retro with the cool 70's vibe, I went totally abstract. 1992 was the year of the monkey, so this is why I did a monkey card (care to see some other fun facts about 1992? see below picture). Be sure to hop on over to the PKS Challenge blog to see the other groovy projects. If you have some PKS face stamps, you can play along for a chance to win a $20 gift certificate!

I love David Cook
Ok, I know this is totally unrelated to paper crafting but I just had to share this awesome music with all of you rock fans out there. I've been a fan of David Cook since he was on Idol. His sophmore album comes out on the 28th. Walmart has a live performance of 5 of his new songs. If you are a fan of great rock music, check it out!

Small Oval Punch Substitute
Happy Father's Day to all of you fathers out there! One of my readers reported that the Stampin' Up! small oval punch is officially sold out and you can not buy it anymore. Many of my classes use this punch, so if you don't have it, I have found a good substitute for you.
EK Success has an Oval Punch that is 1 1/2" wide. It's only 1/8" larger than the Stampin' Up! punch which makes it a good substitute. Here is a link if you wish to buy it. I'm sure that you can get it online at other crafting sites and maybe even at Michaels or Joann etc.
http://www.eksuccessbrands.com/ektools/Products/1_1+2_inch_Large_Oval_Nesting_Punch_PSPNPOV004.htm
Of course, I won't be using this punch in future punch art piecings that I create which will be very difficult to do! This information is also provided on my ordering pages if I use the small oval in my patterns for that class.

Sweet Blog Award
Thank you to Terri from Two Pink Peas for this Sweet Blog Award!
Part of this reward is to share 7 random facts about myself and pass the award onto 8 other bloggers. So, here goes:
1. I'm a techie. My magazine subscriptions include PC World and Technology Review.
2. I love playing video games. Of course, I don't have nearly enough time to do that so I have to settle for using my wii with my workout.
3. My daughter was a surprise miracle baby (after trying for 7 years and giving up).
4. I wanted to study art in college but ended up getting an accounting degree so I could get a job.
5. I bought my first car when I was 17 and we called it the Flintstonemobile because the floor was rusted out and the carpeting was the only thing between my feet and the road! Over the next 2 years, all of the door handles broke off, the rear hatch window spontaneously blew out and the front end of the car collapsed onto the tires. If you're curious, this car was a 79 Plymouth Horizon. I owned a string of crappy american made cars after that. This is why I now buy Japanese cars.
6. My favorite color used to be blue and now it's pink.
7. I'm a do-it-yourselfer. If I can research online and figure out how to do it myself, I will. This includes carpentry, mechanics, appliance repair and tech repair.
I'm awarding the following 8 people:
1. Tracy Wray http://www.craftycat957.blogspot.com/
2. Valita http://valitasfreshfolds.blogspot.com/
3. Carrie Gaskin http://artisticavenger.wordpress.com/page/6/
3. Jacque Craig http://stampinwithjacque.com/
4. Anne Marie http://stampinanne.blogspot.com/
5. Nelia http://www.mylovelyinspirations.com/
6. Lisa Young http://addinkandstamp.blogspot.com/
7. Viv http://craftinghaven.blogspot.com/
8. Heidi http://gotscraps.blogspot.com/
Of course, I could think of dozens more wonderful bloggers so if you don't see your name on the list, it doesn't mean that I wasn't thinking of you!
