Peachy Keen & Quick Quotes Blog Hop

Thank you so much for joining us for the Peachy Keen Stamps and Quick Quotes joint blog hop!
If you've just came from the Quick Quotes blog, then you are hopping along just fine. I'm the first designer on the hop today.  You'll have until Sunday night to complete the hop and leave comments for a chance to win a prize!

Peachy Keen Stamps and Quick Quotes have partnered this weekend to bring you incredible creations from both Design Teams. You'll see how versatile our products truly are!  I used paper and vellum quotes from the Live Out Loud collection at Quick Quotes.  Please note that the pretty orange and lime green print papers are the back side of the papers shown on the product page.  I also used 2 of the Peachy Keen face sets to create my punch art characters.  The faces on the birds are from the PK-482 Winter Wonderland Face Assortment.  The face on the frog prince is from PK-741 Baby Animals.

(look below for supply list)

Thanks again for stopping by! I hope you're inspired and ready to create!  Don't forget to leave a comment on each designers' blog for a chance to win either a Quick Quotes prize package or two stamp sets from Peachy Keen!  The deadline for commenting is 11:59 pm EDT, Sunday, September 18th.

Punch Art Instructions:

Love Birds:
Punch the following pieces with Stampin' Up! paper punches for each bird.
Small Oval (current US catalog) for head
1 1/4" Circle for body
2 wings from the Bird Builder punch
1 small Boho Blossom punch for the feet, cut apart to create feet

Stamp faces with black ink.  Highlight eyes with white unibal gel ink pen.  Sponge or stipple regal rose ink onto cheeks. Sponge edges of all orange pieces with Pumpkin Pie ink and lime pieces with Old Olive ink.  Color in beek with pumpkin pie marker. Attach wings and head to body with dimensionals.  Glue feet onto body.

Frog Prince:
Punch the following pieces with Stampin' Up! punches:
Extra Large Oval (wide) for head
1 3/4" Circle for body
(2) 3/4" Circles for eyes
Butterfly cut in half for hind legs
Modern Label cut in half and ends rounded out for feet
(2) Word Window for front legs
(2) small Boho Blossoms for front feet (trimmed as shown)
several 3/8" Circles from Itty Bitty Shapes punch pack for spots
(2) chest pieces from Owl Builder punch.  Make v slots on top of one piece to create crown.  Glue other piece onto bottom to extend length and trim away excess.

Stamp eyes onto 3/4" circles.  Stamp mouth on head.  Add white hilights to eyes with uniball gel pen. Add pink to cheeks. Sponge edges of all pieces with Old Olive ink.  Glue spots onto body. Glue hind legs onto each side of body.  Attach hind feet with dimensionals.  Attach front legs with dimensionals.  Attach front feet to legs with dimensionals.  Glue eyes onto top of head.  Attach head with dimensional or Action Wobble Spring. Glue crown onto head and add small rhinestones.
