Peachy Keen LFIF Free for All

I had a lot of fun with the Peachy Keen "Let's Face it Friday" challenge this week.  It was a free-for-all theme and we could create anything with our face stamps.  This little lemonaid girl was the result!  I used the PK-640 Princess Face Assortment set.  You'll want to go check out the other awesome projects HERE.  Play along on the challenge for a chance to win the Cottage Cutz Pig Peeker die & stamp set.  You may recall that I used this for my last PKS challenge HERE.  Incidentally, Peachy Keen has a great sale going on right now right HERE.

INSTRUCTIONS:

1) For the lemonaid girl, punch out the following pieces (Stampin' Up! punches):
  • 1" Circle in Blushing Bride - HEAD
  • Butterfly in Blushing Bride - CHEST

  • Jewelry Tag - 2 each of Shimmery White and So Saffron - GLASSES
  • Small Oval in shimmery white and so saffron - PITCHER
  • 1/2" Circle in shimmery white - PITCHER HANDLE

  • 1" x 4" Greenhouse Gala pear pizzazz flower print
  • 3/4" x 4" Greenhouse Gala so saffron flower print

3) Cut small 4 petal flower in half for ears.  Cut butterfly in half for chest.  Sponge edges of all Blush Blossom pieces with blush blossom ink.  Overlap butterfly halves and glue together to form chest and shoulders.  Glue neck onto back of chest.  Glue ears onto head.  Stamp face onto head with PK-640 Princess Face Assortment stamp set (1" wide face).  Add blush to cheeks with Regal Rose ink and stipple brush.  Add white hilights to eyes with unibal gel pen.

4) Glue head onto neck.  Glue 2 cupcake tops onto back of head for hair.  Round off the top of the 3rd piece and fringe the bottom edge for bangs and glue in place  Glue straps and top onto chest.

5) For lemonaid pitcher, cut off bottom of small oval.  Cut top off oval in an upward curve.  Cut away bottom and top of so saffron oval and glue onto pitcher.  Punch a 1/2" circle in shimmery white.  Line up the same punch over the punched hole and punch a crescent shape for the pitcher handle.  For the glasses, cut off the tops of the jewelry tags in a concave shape.

5) For the stand, glue the 1/2" x 5" strips of wood print onto chocolate chip card stock.  Sponge the edges of all wood print pieces with chocolate chip ink.  Glue the 5" posts onto the back sides of 2 1/2" x 3 1/2" print piece.  Attach 1/2" x 4" piece onto front with dimensionals and add pitcher and glasses.

Cheap digital class delivery service

Hey all, as many of my regular customers know, I use Fastwagon to digitally deliver my classes for me.  If you have never ordered from me, I just wanted to share this information with you.  I know a lot of you out there sell your own crafting classes.  How would like to not be chained to your email all day checking to see if you got any orders?  How would you like to take a vacation and not worry about emailing orders to people?  If so, then I have the thing for you.

Fastwagon is a great digital delivery service that charges only $8 a month!  Can you believe it?  Other similar services not only charge you a monthly fee, but they also charge you based on your sales.  Not Fastwagon!  They charge $8 and that's it!  Unlimited sales.  For $8 a month, you get plenty of online storage for your files (I have many classes and have only used 3% of my capacity).

I've been happily using Fastwagon for almost 2 years and have discovered how truly exceptional it is.  John, the owner, provides exceptional service.  He always quickly replies to inquiries and issues and is always looking for feedback from his customers on how to make the service better.  For example, I was looking for a coupon option and he added it to the service.  He has helped me so much over the past 2 years that I want to help him in return by promoting the service I truly believe in and support!

I encourage you to check out the service and sign up.  You have nothing to lose since he lets you try the service out for a week for free.  If it's not for you, you can easily cancel your subscription on paypal with no other obligation.

Check it out HERE.

Freaky Friday Inspiration 5/13/11

I hope your Freaky Friday wasn't too freaky! Mine started out pretty freaky since I couldn't get blogger to work and share my inspiration posts.  Today, I'm sharing some great tutorials I found online. Enjoy!

Honey Bee treat box and card

I was invited to join the design team at INKspirations 4U for the Summer Edition.  This is my contribution to the site.  This little acetate box is decorated on the front and back and it comes with a matching card.  If you want the step by step tutorial along with the other great projects in the Summer Edition, you can subscribe at the site HERE.

Peachy Keen LFIF Challenge

Hello all, sorry for the delay.  Blogger was not playing nice today!  This week's Peachy Keen Let's Face it Friday challenge was to use our face stamps to create a project to get organized!  This one was a really tough one since I am so UNorganized!  To see all of the wonderfully creative projects from the rest of the team, please check it out at the challenge site HERE.  Join the challenge for a fabulous prize!

BLOG CANDY ALERT!
Due to the fact that I've been working 12+ hour days at my full time job this week, I unfortunately did not get the time to write a tutorial for this little recipe box project of mine.  But, if you leave a comment, 5 lucky winners will receive a copy of my Notes Holder tutorial (details HERE).

For this project, I used the Peachy Keen Cottage Cutz Pig Peeker die and stamp set (details HERE).  The cupcake was created with the Stampin' Up! cupcake punch.  If I find time between now and the end of the month, I will try and post a tutorial for this recipe box.  Craft Project Central has a similar tutorial HERE.

Sweet Honey Post It Note Book

Today's project is my contribution to Craft Project Central.  This isn’t your usual Post-it Notes cover! This Post-it Note book looks and feels like a book with a hard cover and a fabric-looking binding.  The magnetic closure with floating bee completes the project perfectly. This cute little project with matching pen is a perfect teacher gift and is a fun class or club project!  For the full color step by step instructions, please visit Craft Project Central HERE and subscribe to May.

Leave a comment on this post and I will be drawing a random name on Sunday for a free May subscription at Craft Project Central!

Taking a break today

Hi all, I hope you don't mind that I don't have any inspiration links today.  I spent all day yesterday with my daughter and Mom, so I didn't have time to surf the internet for ideas to share.

I will be working long hours at my full time job the next couple weeks.  Hopefully I'll be able to set up my blog posts during my lunch breaks so I can continue to share links every day.  If I miss a day or 2, you will know why.

My next project is coming up this Friday for the Peachy Keen LFIF challenge.  Thanks for hanging with me!

Oh, and you may have noticed my new blog design.  What do you think?
