Punches on the clearance rack!

Hey all, I'm not a Stampin' Up! demonstrator, but I wanted to share some awesome information with all of you.  Stampin' Up! has lots of great punches on the clearance rack right now.  Get all of these great punches at a great price!  Stampin' Up! still has to clear out the old style punches.  Personally, I PREFER the older style punches over the new ones (I own both).  They punch easier and a lot cleaner as well.

To order off the clearance rack, you will need to order through your demonstrator's website.  I suggest this, as you will pay a higher price if you order directly from the Stampin' Up! website.  Keep in mind that the Sellabration sale is still underway and you will get a free item from the SAB catalog for each $50 you purchase.

Today is the official release of the March Stamps of the Month kit and several additional stamp sets.  Yesterday I featured the SOTM stamps and the Peachy Picks paper kit in my project. Today, I'm using the PK-564 Teamwork! stamp set and PK-565 Mushroom Soup background stamp.  I also used the card stocks, designer papers and greeting punch out from the Peachy Picks March kit.

Check out these wonderful stamp sets!  If you join the stamp of the month club, you commit to 6 months of stamps.  The stamp set price is only $29.95 for club members.  Otherwise, you can purchase it for $39.95. (These prices are for US customers.  Canadian and International customers are priced differently.)

Did you love all of the wonderful paper crafting products I used on my PKS projects this week?  All of the card stocks, designer papers and embellishments are from the Peachy Picks March 2012 kit.  This kit club is only $24.95 a month.  Membership is a 6 month commitment.  Each month, a new kit will be shipped to you.  It will include coordinating card stocks, designer papers and embellishments.

Peachy Keen Party

Hey all! Are you a Peachy Keen fan? We have a new release day party going on over at the Peachy Keen Community site Saturday morning at 10:00 AM central time. There will be challenges, trivia games, a chance to win prizes and big grand prize drawing for all challenge participants. Please stop by and join me and several of the design team members for all of the fun. I'll be sharing another fun idea as well as the other ladies on the team. Want to find out more about Peachy Keen? Ask about what sets to buy? What our favorite sets are? You can stop by and chat with us all!

Peachy Keen March Stamps of the Month

Just when you thought Peachy Keen couldn't top last month, Kathy did it once again!  The March 2012 Stamp of the Month kit features these incredibly adorable gnomies.  The assortment of faces, faceless boy and girl gnomes, accessories and greeting are everything you need to make some awesome projects!  Have you seen the Peachy Picks monthly paper kit?  These kits are AWESOME!  All of the card stocks, designer papers and embellishments I used on this project came from the March kit.  The greeting is from the paper kit as a punch out. Check out the other design team projects HERE.
The card sketch is from Mojo Monday Challenge #229

I love this SOTM set because not only do you get a nice variety of faces for the faceless gnome stamps, but there are also LARGER versions of the same faces to use on your paper piecing and punch art projects! These additional faces are 1-1/8" size which is my preferred size for punch art faces.  The SOTM kits are really a fantastic value at $29.95 when you join the club.  The sets are HUGE.  This set has 33 stamps and they all aren't little stamps.  You get a 2 large faceless gnomes that are 4.75" tall, a large tree stump, flower pot and mushroom (each at least 2" tall), 10 faces, 7 greetings and lots of accessories.

For this project, I wanted to show you a punch art project featuring a face from the set.  The hat and stump are from the stamp set and the rest of the pieces are punches. The papers and embellishments are from the March Peachy Picks paper kit.

To make the punch art gnome, you need the following punches:
1-3/8" Circle for head in Pink Pirouette
Heart to Heart (wide heart) for ears in Pink Pirouette
1/2" Circle for hands in Pink Pirouette
Blossom Petals Builder for hair in So Saffron
Extra Large Oval for body in Pink Pirouette and designer print
Blossom Punch for dress in designer print

Punch pieces as shown.  Cut heart in half for ears.  Punch small oval in top of extra large oval on designer print for the neckline of dress.  Cut blossom punch in half, layer over the top of each other and then cut away the sides towards center of body.  Sponge edges of pink pirouette pieces with blushing bride ink. Sponge edges of so saffron pieces with more mustard ink.  Stamp face with black and color in eyes with unibal white gel pen. Sponge rose ink or chalk onto cheeks. Color nose with blushing bride marker.

My Creative Time New Stamp Release Blog Hop

I am so thrilled to share these new stamps images (and egg die) from My Creative Time.  If you came here from Veronica's blog, then you are on the right track.  If you are just starting here, you'll definitely want to start at the beginning HERE.  I instantly fell in love with the bunny silhouette stamp from the Hello Spring set.  This set has 13 stamps and comes with a coordinating egg die.  My greeting came from the Happy Hunting set.  My card is a diorama card.  It's 2 inches thick but folds flat for mailing.  Details are below. Leave a comment for a chance to win a $100 gift certificate to the My Creative Time store.  A name will be drawn from each stop in the hop. Then, those names will go into the grand prize drawing.  There are 19 stops  so you have lots of opportunities to win!  Shop the brand new online store for 10% off your entire purchase through the 24th. Use the code GRANDOPENING at check out.

This is a picture from the side so you can see the dimension.  It looks really neat in person.

Check out these gorgeous sets!

This is the last stop on the blog hop.  If you missed a stop, check out the list below:

Card Details:
For the basic tutorial on a Diorama card, see the tutorial on SCS HERE.  The dimensions on my card are different. For the front and back layer, cut 9-3/4" x 5" pieces of Pool Party card stock. For the center section, cut a 7-3/4" x 5" piece of Pear Pizzazz card stock.  I used the Everyday Enchantment designer series papers for the center layer and eggs.  For the window, I used the Spellbinders Label 23.  For the sun on the back layer, punch a 1" Circle from So Saffron.  Cut several strips for the sun rays.  Sponge edges with cajun craze ink.  Tear a couple pieces of Pear Pizzazz card stock and sponge edges with old olive ink for the hillside.  On the front of the card, I die cut some grass strips for behind and in front of the eggs.  The eggs were die cut from the die that is included with the Hello Spring set.
