Inspired by Stamping Challenge

Today's challenge at Inspired by Stamping is based on a picture inspiration:

Recently a good friend of mine lost her husband.  I wanted to make a special sympathy card and this picture inspired me to create the following:

I used the 3-D layered flower technique to create this pretty glittered flower.  The flower is from an IBS set called Elegant Flowers.  The greeting is from a new set called Heartfelt Greetings.  I used some retired Stampin' Up! designer series papers.  For the flower, I stamped 3 flowers on a light pink patterned paper and one flower on a yellow patterned paper.  I cut out the pink flowers, cutting away different petals on each layer and then sponged the edges with regal rose ink and layered with dimensionals.  The center piece was cut out and sponged with more mustard ink.
