Dancing Penguins Pop Up Stage

Hi all, my pop up stage tutorial is this week's technique challenge over at SCS.  If you would like to play along, the challenge number is TLC289.  The thread is located HERE.  My pop up stage tutorial is located HERE.

This is my entry into the challenge.  I got to use my new Cottage Cutz Penguin Doll.  This is a set of dies with Peachy Keen faces.  I cut the bodies out of textured black, textured white and textured pumpkin.  Sponge the edges of black with white craft ink, the white pieces with going gray and the pumpkin pieces with cajun craze inks.  Their scarfs are real red, celery & marina mist taffeta ribbon.  I also got to try out the polar white flower soft.  The snow drifts were created by tearing pieces of shimmery white cardstock and applying some glue along the tops of the drifts and adding flower soft (I wish you could see this in the picture, it's so much prettier in person!).  The designer papers are from a Stampin' Up! DSP called Candy Cane Christmas.  The card body is made from baja breeze and the stage is shimmery white cardstock.  I created a belly band to wrap around the outside of the card to keep it closed and embellished with red satin ribbon.
